About Voices for Economic Recovery

We are in unprecedented times. Now called the “great recession,” the economy continues to shift and requires the attention of all of our great leaders to get us back on track. Recovery and growth will not happen without collaboration, which is a key priority in the Open Government Initiative being led by President Obama’s administration. In fact, elevating collaboration is the main reason for the creation of Data.gov, a way for the public to access and use datasets at the Federal level.

The voices of government and education leaders must also be heard. This is why we’ve created The Voices for Economic Recovery, an open forum designed to encourage discussion and collaboration to breed new innovation to lead us to a more efficient and effective government. Without participation from you, along with the vendors and partners that support Education and Government, we will not make it to the road of recovery.

You have the opportunity to share and collaborate in every important ARRA area, from education to healthcare to environmental programs and more. We encourage you to participate and offer your suggestions, best practices and lessons learned for creating a more efficient government. This site is for YOU! We will not collect or share any of the data on this site. We simply want to provide the platform to start the conversation so your voice can be heard.

If you have any suggestions or changes for this site, please contact us at uspsstim@microsoft.com. We will do our best to accomodate all suggestions.
